    All air duct cleaning services should follow the "source removal method”. This method requires that the entire duct work system be put under negative pressure while a technician loosens all contaminants in each vent. The contaminants are removed via negative pressure through a closed system, ensuring no dirt gets into your home.

    Is Sanitizer Necessary to Duct Cleaning?
    For us, Sanitizer is recommended on about 10% of our jobs. We use EnviroCon which is Specific to the HVAC industry, and is highly effective in eliminating odor-causing microorganisms as well as those associated with mold, mildew and bacterial growth.

    Air duct cleaning should be performed every 3-5 years Customers who have the following might also want to consider more frequent cleanings: Pets that shed high amounts of hair and dander, Water contamination or damage, Residents with allergies or asthma, After home renovations or remodeling or Prior to occupancy of a new home

    How long does a typical air duct cleaning take?
    We ask for at least 2 hours in your home so that we can ensure that our expert technicians have provided the best air duct cleaning service

    Is the process messy?
    Absolutely not. All of our gas powered equipment is located outside, so the dirt is pulled to the machine outside and out of your home. Our procedures are designed to protect your home and furnishings from dust/dirt and we always leave the home cleaner then when we arrived.

    Does the contractor posses the proper Licenses that are required by your city or state to perform the work they are proposing?
    (Not all cities or states require licenses) Maryland does not require a license for Air Duct Cleaning at this time and one cannot be obtained

    WORK IS GUARANTEED FOR 30 DAYS UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. AIR DUCT PROS, INC. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS and shall not be liable for any HVAC system operation issues, damages resulting from improper installation of duct work, or damages from cables or wiring located inside of duct work, and are not responsible for marks, peeling or chipping of paint due to removal/installation of vent covers, and or windows for our hose to to come through. We are also not responsible for any dryer vent pre-existing conditions and shall not be liable for any damages resulting form improper installation of dryer vent runs, nor are we responsible for bird cages or any other outside flaps that are not properly installed or fall off during the cleaning process. Air Duct Pros, Inc. does not remove/clean the fan and coil in the cleaning process in accordance with our state laws.

    Will your equipment damage my air ducts?
    Absolutely not. While our equipment is designed to be aggressive at removing debris from your air system, it is also gentle enough so that it does not damage your air ducts.

    How do I know if my duct work needs cleaning?
    If you don’t remember ever having your ductwork cleaned or if you haven’t within the past 5 years, it’s probably time. If your ductwork has been cleaned in the past, you will typically find access panels installed on the supply and return main lines near the furnace.
